I'm a huge Star Trek fan and recently watched the whole Deep Space 9 serie for the first time.
That's why the captain had to be my next drawing. Comments

 Anyway...  I love the eyes, they've got so much life in them, superb work, keep it up! Fave  -- I run a tight ship, not a shite tip Ah cool, yeah haven't come across many yet. I see we have a few other things in
common too: the simpsons (love them), spiderman (your featured one is great, I wanted to draw that one too), Terminator, Star Wars. Love sci-fi  I love your Richard Wilson (no idea who that is) and your Patrick Stewart (looking down) is really good too, shame there's not more detail in the eyes (but there probably wasn't in the picture) Thanks for the comments and   I don't watch Star Trek, so I can't really say if he resembles or not, but it's amazing none the less~

I love the eyes and goatee.   It makes it so much easier to do a good drawing when you have a nice detailed ref. picture. I took a picture of the tv, it was a great big close up of him.... Oh yeah, I definitley work better with a big reference.
About 7 or 8 years ago I actually did a big (almost poster size) drawing of the whole DS9 crew. The only reference I had was a small picture from the TV guide. It turned out pretty good, but I have also become a lot better. Maybe I'll put it on here soon. Yeah ya should - I'd love to see it!!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
