I came across this photo on :iconssuunnddeeww: gallery a while ago, and just loved it. I have something with portraits not looking into the camera and looking away to the side.

I started it over a week and a half ago, took it to Spain :sun: and back and finished it yesterday. I wanted something different, so when I came to the flowers, I didn't just want to do them in plain pencil and since I was at work (during my break :D ), I had no other choice but coloured pencils. (which we have lying around... I work in an art department :) )

I really like how it's turned out and am gonna try more combo's of pencil and coloured pencil.

Hope you're all as excited about this one as I am :dance:

Pencils: 2h, hb, 3b, 4b and coloured pencils
Time: about 8-10 hours

Wow.. Nice job. I like how the flowers are coloured and attract attention, but the girl's gaze is on something else something that we can only imagine. Haha..

Hahaha, not much time on holidays really. At the end of a long day of wandering the city my hubby and I crash in front of CNN (because there's nothing else English to watch :giggle: ) but it's on the plane usually when I draw. Started a new one too....

Glad you like it mate. And I think it's one of my best ones too :blushes:
